Megafon: Brand creation and product line development
Summary
Comprehensive brand creation and development of a men’s footwear line based on existing production infrastructure.
The client needed to create a new men’s footwear brand to act as a counterpart to their existing women’s brand, leveraging their experience, production resources, and established manufacturing infrastructure.
The goal was to develop a distinct identity and a differentiated product line capable of competing in a segment that values durability and real quality, while maintaining an accessible positioning compared to premium brands.
At Nibö Studio, we approached the project holistically, working on the brand creation from the ground up (naming, visual identity, and graphic system) as well as adapting and redesigning existing models to build a coherent, scalable, and commercially viable product line.

Context
The project was developed within a small-to-medium enterprise with consolidated production capabilities, already manufacturing men’s footwear for third parties and women’s footwear under its own brand.
The opportunity was to leverage this expertise and infrastructure to launch a new men’s brand without altering core processes or adding unnecessary production complexity.
This required approaching the brand and product as an integrated system from the outset, with a clear logic for product lines, variations, and future growth.
Process
The Megafon brand was developed in parallel with the design of the product line.
The naming emerged as a direct reference to the cultural universe of the women’s brand, establishing a conceptual link rooted in identity and Argentine tradition, with a contemporary approach.
On the product side, existing models were adapted and redesigned, introducing formal, material, and construction elements that differentiated the new brand without modifying the underlying production structure.
Outcome
The result is a solid brand and an initial men’s footwear line ready to scale, developed using the client’s existing resources and enabling commercial growth without redefining processes or requiring large initial investments.
